About me | 40 Weeks and Counting
https://40weeksandcounting.wordpress.com/about
Just another WordPress.com site. 40 Weeks and Counting. I am a control freak, I have a career in television and I really like to party. I am also going to have a baby for the first time. This is where my blog started – with my pregnancy. A whole new world of blood tests, screenings, birthing plans, folic acid, nausea, tiredness, not eating cheese, turning into a hormonal monster the list was endless. One Response to “About me”. Just another WordPress.com site. 40 Weeks and Counting. And then, like all injections, it was over in a flash and it only hurt a little bit going in. Afterwards it hurt a lot. It felt like my arm was going to drop off. Still, it’s better than getting the flu. Just. So yes, I really don’t enjoy getting injections. What I enjoy even less is watching my baby have them. This hurts a lot. And the older they get, the worse it gets. As my baby’s cries went from 4 to 40 decibels we were told we were done and to ...

Just another WordPress.com site. 40 Weeks and Counting. Going out, out. When I had my baby I wasn’t sure when or how it would be even possible to leave him for a night. I couldn’t imagine him not being with me all the time, nor did I want to. That’s not to say I didn’t think about it. A lot. This was usually at 3am when I sat day dreaming (or night dreaming) of dropping him off at my mum’s for a night so hubby and I could drive back home, get into bed and sleep until we could sleep no more. Oh yes, a book.
Working Mum | 40 Weeks and Counting
https://40weeksandcounting.wordpress.com/2013/11/30/working-mum
Just another WordPress.com site. 40 Weeks and Counting. So I did it. I am back in the rat race. I am seven weeks in to having left my full time job as a mummy and returned to my full time job working in telly. To say I miss my boy is an understatement. How the hell was I going to leave him? How the hell was I supposed to make space in my head to concentrate on anything other than my boy? When I have down days, I constantly remind myself that I want to work. I want my son to grow up in a house where m...

40 weeks and counting
40 weeks and counting. The blog of a pregnant woman who has a two year old son and has suffered 2 losses. Oh yeah, and has a raging case of PCOS. Monday, April 21, 2008. Tuesday the 8th of April I started having contractions at around. I had been feeling wonky all day Monday and suspected that this would be coming sometime soon. The contractions weren't too strong or regular, mainly just really annoying Braxton Hicks type contractions. They went away enough for me to sleep until about. So I went home and...

Just another WordPress.com site. 40 Weeks and Counting. Doing the Baby Dance. As mentioned previously, hubby and I have decided it is time to add to our brood and are going to have another baby. We are officially ‘trying’. What this means is that I now spend every waking moment thinking about, reading about and obsessively Googling ‘conceiving a second child’. ‘Trying’ indeed. Other than both hubby and I wanting children at some point, planning didn’t really come into it. These are horrible, and I became...
