Life Cycle: March 2013
http://timlutz.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Riding, racing, and shenanigans. Sunday, March 24, 2013. This Week on the Bicycle. Due to weather conditions on the mountain passes and a 24 hour bug that hit me like a ton of bricks late in the week, it was decided that I was to stay close and take it easy. As always, I had no qualms with back to back weekend days spent at Buffalo Creek. It's by far my favorite place to ride a bicycle in the Colorado foothills. Brett Ebben. And I spent both days exploring fire roads covered with 6" of fresh powder.

Riding, racing, and shenanigans. Tuesday, December 17, 2013. My GrindTV Article/Interview: Talking Fat Bikes and Iditarod. Check out the below link that just went live on GrindTV which is an extension of Yahoo! Sports for outdoor extreme sports. I'm amped about the coverage and hoping to expose the joy of fat bikes and their applications. Just because it's subzero and a whiteout blizzard, it doesn't mean you can't ride a bicycle. Not anymore. Thanks for reading,. February 22: Iditarod Trail Invitational.

Life Cycle: This Week on the Bicycle
http://timlutz.blogspot.com/2013/03/this-week-on-bicycle.html
Riding, racing, and shenanigans. Monday, March 4, 2013. This Week on the Bicycle. First ever ride with Ida en route to work. I've got a great feeling about sunrise (and sunset) rides this year. Another sub 15 degree commute with Oscar, chalked up to the winter ultra endurance racing that lies ahead. One of many stunning views in my first winter wonderland joyride with Ida in Winter Park. For the first time in my life, I want winter to last. Platte River Road, just gorgeous. January 27: Arrowhead 135.

Monumentally Afflicted: September 2010
http://monumentallyafflicted.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 20, 2010. Still having fun at 20 hours! Well, I think my race season is done. I did (part of) Vapor Trail. Last week and 24 Hours of Colorado Springs. Vapor Trail is wicked hard. Major sections of hike-a-bike. Listen to your body, and don't try to push things when sick. I need to figure out how to better dress for changing temps and conditions. All that insane hike-a-bike may (just) be worth the massively fun descent from Granite Mountain. Back then, I thought riding for 24 hours was in...

Monumentally Afflicted: June 2010
http://monumentallyafflicted.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 29, 2010. 24 Hours of Colorado Springs. I've signed up as a soloist for the inaugural 24 Hours of Colorado Springs. This race will be September 18, 19 on the Falcon Trail. At the Air Force Academy. This is a fun course, with some small sections of good technical riding and 1635ft of climbing in the 12.65 miles. I'm pretty psyched. Completely guessing, I'll set a goal of 12-16 laps. 16 laps would put me over 200 miles for the day, which would be sweet! Saturday, June 26, 2010.
