Friday, March 27, 2009. Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in Cornmeal. My Ravelry Project Page! Wednesday, March 25, 2009. I volunteered to be a pattern tester in the Free Pattern Testers. My first test pattern was this adorable Door Knob Pocket by Wiste. I whipped the whole thing up last night during the Obama Press Conference. It was a quick and easy project, fairly mindless and a lovely escape from the longer and more complicated projects I've been undertaking. Pattern: Door Knob Pocket. Cast on at Monday K...

KnightsKnitting: June 2012

Friday, June 15, 2012. 2012 Washcloths - 2nd Quarter Report. Washcloth knitting has gone very well in the second quarter of 2012. I already posted about the April washcloth. And here is the one I finished in May:. Finally, the June washcloth. I knit this all in one day in early June, and will be turning it in to the Harry Potter Knitting and Crochet House Cup. This process made for slow reading but very fast knitting, and what I think will be a very scrubby washcloth. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Panini Monday: July 2009
http://paninimonday.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2009. So back to Rachel. She posted this recipe. For Pulled Pork Sandwiches back in March. I found it on Friday and immediately sent it to the husband and demanded I make this for dinner one night. A man to turn away BBQ Pork sammiches? Yeah right so of course he was already hungry for it. Prep work was minimal, took maybe 15 minutes. only because I trimmed some of the fat and the bone from the pork. And I'm squeemish with raw meat. Gives me the heebie jeebies. Find the Recipe Here.

Panini Monday: Trifle- AKA The Best Dessert Ever
http://paninimonday.blogspot.com/2009/04/trifle-aka-best-dessert-ever.html
Wednesday, April 15, 2009. Trifle- AKA The Best Dessert Ever. So my former coworker used to spoil us rotten by making this phenomenal dessert. It is amazingly rich and chocolatey yet so light that it's almost sinful. Don't get me wrong, it isn't light on calories I'm sure but I choose to ignore that fact. I made this (condensed version) for Easter and it was a huge hit. I unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) didn't have any leftovers to bring home. 1/2 bag of peanut butter chips.

Friday, January 30, 2009. So everyone has their own pot roast recipe. And everyone likes theirs best. I'm constantly trying to update mine and figure out one recipe that I just can't live without. I made this during the snow storm on Wednesday and it was pretty close to being the best! 2-3 lb pot roast. 2 tbsp olive oil. 7-8 potatoes (peeled and cut into chunks). 2 portions of baby carrots (mine were individual size but 1 small bag would be fine). 1 can beef broth. http://paninimonday.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Okay so if one thing is consisent in our house, it's that on (most) Monday's we have Panini's. Thus the name, Panini Monday! It's all about the bread! Then we fill it:. Sliced Pepperoni ( Hormel Sandwich. I add italian dressing. And Pepperoncini's to mine). Brush the bread with a bit of olive oil. Place on the pan (I preheat my panini pan on medium while I am assembling the sandwichs). Press with the weight (or use a pan with a canned good on top). Be careful they're hot!
