Living SoGaNoFla: July 2011
http://livingsoganofla.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Friday, July 22, 2011. Meet my brother's dog, Marlin. He's named after the firearm, not the fish! He is absolutely the sweetest pit bull I've ever met. But, bless his heart, he doesn't have the best luck in the world. Let me explain. 65279;Back to Marlin. My brother works second shift and came home shortly after everything simmered down. He knew about the bad storm, so he went to check on his pup. Marlin wasn't in his pen. His pen wasn't even there!

As of now I can no longer post pictures from work, either, but I will give an update on the happenings of soGAnoFLA :). Monday, April 19, 2010. Social Thursday- Few days late and several dollars short. Sorry for the delay in Social Thursday! Good reason, though. I was at the Wanee Festival. Click here and pick out a song! Living SoGaNoFla: March 2010
http://livingsoganofla.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Monday, March 1, 2010. This beautiful Narcissus greeted me home Wednesday afternoon! It's the first bloom of Spring for us and there are several more about to come out. You can see how the flower buds start in this picture. These are probably my favorite flowers! I love how big the trumpets are. They're bulbs and I've never had to move or mess with them since the day they were planted- very easy to grow. A few weeks ago I took a walk around the yard...

Living SoGaNoFla: Mae Bell's a mama!
http://livingsoganofla.blogspot.com/2012/04/mae-bells-mama.html
Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Mae Bell's a mama! This is the sight I came home to yesterday afternoon. At least one duckling made it out! I took a closer look, gently lifting her up to see what she was hiding. And another little head poked out! We're both proud mama's! It won't be long before they're bigger than her! December 4, 2013 at 10:30 PM. That is so cute! I know there are cross adoptions sometimes, but have never actually seen photos like this.

Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Hen Nest Box Giveway at Life on a Southern Farm! We've been busy building a chicken coop from used materials we've found in our yard, our parents, and the old paintball field! Just in time, too, because yesterday I came home to find one of my biddies piddling around my spare room! The only things we lack on the coop is building the door for the run and putting in some nest boxes. Head over to Life on a Southern Farm. Subsc...

Living SoGaNoFla: Baby Chickens!!
http://livingsoganofla.blogspot.com/2011/04/baby-chickens.html
Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Friday, April 29, 2011. A couple of weeks ago, Jami had to stay home from work due to a bad case of poison ivy all over his hands (it would later spread to almost every inch of his body). He and I carpool to work everyday and he's the type that as soon as we get off he doesn't want to do anything but head. Aren't they just the cutest? They're almost 4 weeks now and are getting a lot of feathers in, so soon I'll post a picture at Back Yard Chickens.

Living SoGaNoFla: Happy Easter... Lilies!
http://livingsoganofla.blogspot.com/2011/04/happy-easter-lilies.html
Life in the melting pot of South Georgia North Florida. Friday, April 22, 2011. Happy Easter. Lilies! Every year as the end of March rolls around, a beautiful sight begins to unfold in the ditches along these Southern roads. The Easter Lilies, as we've always called them, are a sure sign that the Earth has awakened and Spring is finally here! According to information I've found, the common name for. Is Rain Lily, but that's not what we call them, nor have I ever heard someone refer to them as such. We li...

Really, is this not the coolest little car you've ever seen? A one-seater with a top speed of 25mph. Totally customizable! Solar powered with the batteries at the very front of the vehicle. You can find out more about these here. Wednesday, December 23, 2009. Dinner and Vanilla Extract. Bottles ready for a hot bath.
