IN THE SHADOW OF BONDS: Maybe there is some magic left inside!?!
http://intheshadowofbonds.blogspot.com/2011/05/maybe-there-is-some-magic-left-inside.html
Saturday, May 28, 2011. Maybe there is some magic left inside! The second game after "the incident" regarding Buster Posey had Giants fans, and probably Giants players, fearing the worst. After all, it had been 18 innings since the Giants had scored a run and Shaun Marcum was dealing. They were proven wrong in the 7th when the Giants loaded the bases against Marcum and the guy who was taking only his second major league AB showed that the magic is still there if you look hard enough. Maybe there is some ...

IN THE SHADOW OF BONDS: First place Giants keep rolling!
http://intheshadowofbonds.blogspot.com/2011/06/first-place-giants-keep-rolling.html
Saturday, June 4, 2011. First place Giants keep rolling! After taking 3 out of 4 from the Central division leading St. Louis Cardinals and regaining sole possession of first place in the NL West. The Giants came home last night and took care of business against the Colorado Rockies. I'm not the only one who feels Miggy might be done. Tomorrow's forecast calls for rain. That's a bummer. Hopefully they can squeeze the game in but we will see. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). IN THE SHADOW OF BONDS.

I didn't see this until after I posted my " It's starting to get ugly. Post so I am adding a new entry. It would seem that Sabean and Bochy have had a little talk after tonight's debacle. Here are some quotes from the article. I took the liberty of translating the quotes myself:. We're probably too right-handed for the right-handed pitching,". Roll ...

Optioned to Fresno - A SF Giants Prospects Blog: April 2011
http://optionedtofresno.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
About Optioned to Fresno. The OTF Top 30 Prospect List. Essential Reading and Links. Friday, April 29, 2011. OTF's 32 Most Interesting Prospects: No. 27, Brock Bond, 2B. As a prospect, Brock Bond's ceiling has been a hot topic with many Giants fans. As well. Even if Bond proves to be Major League ready, he might not get an opportunity with talent lingering in the lower minors and veterans ahead of him on the active roster (e.g. delving into Kevin Frandsen territory). Has more power, but Bond. That being ...

Marketing to Women: You Are So Doing It Wrong →. February 23, 2012 · 7:22 pm. Intimate Baseball Confessions (And No, Not Like That). I have a confession to make. It’s a confession that no one who is reading this on tumblr, and relatively few people who follow me on Twitter, will be surprised by, but I think it’s time I said it plainly and on the record. I’m a baseball polyamorist. At the same time. And have an awfully nice swing. Doesn’t equate to. I have two friends who I would classify as pretty much m...

IN THE SHADOW OF BONDS: February 2011
http://intheshadowofbonds.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 26, 2011. Spring training has officially started! The Giants start off spring the right way. With a win! Sure it means absolutely nothing but it's still baseball! Tim Lincecum came out and stunk up the place, but everybody was raving about him! Buster Posey had two hits, Pablo Sandoval looked good in two ABs, and Madison Bumgarner (another guy who was accused of poor conditioning last season) looked like he was in good shape as well. Sunday, February 20, 2011. In the early days of spri...

Snow Woulda Had It! High socks, defense, prospects, off-speed pitches and Giants baseball! I chi ro u. July 23, 2012. When I was 9, someone gave me this magazine:. You know the rest of this story. From 2006 to yesterday, the Mariners were bad. Felix Hernandez was good. J.J. Putz was good, and had a nifty name. Ichiro made goofy comments to the press. Most everyone else was terrible. So I don’t die with the Mariners, but I live with them, sometimes. And when I was in Okinawa, speaking terrible Japanese in...
