Home Addition Adventure: Yawn
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2008/02/yawn.html
Friday, February 1, 2008. It's been over a month now. Roof is still looking like crap. not that I'm holding my breath. Nor am I waiting to have any correspondence with F(r)uckhead. That will need to take place to get the roof issue settled, but since he won't return my calls. The gutter guys came Wednesday and put the downspout back up. They also looked at the section that was pooling. they did something. but they didn't test it, so we're left waiting for the rain. March 17, 2008 at 9:21 PM.

Home Addition Adventure: So not done
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2008/04/so-not-done.html
Sunday, April 6, 2008. So Lisa tells me (after taking Dad to the emergency room last night as part of the fallout of his traffic accident on Friday) that the Fr(uckh)e(a)d actually returned her call Saturday (but she missed the call). He said we needed to contact Frank. And he dismissed the talk of stucco cracks as something he told us to expect. I'll take pictures today, and we'll follow up this week. Home Addition Adventure: lawyer letter
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2009/09/lawyer-letter.html
Thursday, September 3, 2009. Just received a letter from Anthony B Gordon ("A Professional Law Corporation". are there amateurs? The highlight: they're claiming that the "M" pipes were pre-existing. right, and that's why we never had a leak in 15 years, but now have had one within two. right. In other words, don't fuck with us, we'll make YOU pay. Need to take some time this (long) weekend to review the contract and consider the options. including going directly to the bond issuer. Home Addition Adventure: Martin
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2009/09/martin.html
Friday, September 4, 2009. Just left, having dropped off the report. Pretty clear cut, not really a narrative, but straightforward. When I told him about the letter and the statements of "extortion" and threats to force us to pay legal fees, he shook his head again. First, he said, it'll never get to court. The CSLB will push him to settle. If we do have to take him to court, we should do small claims court. We can only ask for $7500, but there are no lawyers allowed in small claims court.

Home Addition Adventure: Stick a Fork in This... It's Done
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2008/04/stick-fork-in-this-its-done.html
Friday, April 4, 2008. Stick a Fork in This. It's Done. To continue this blog, quite frankly, is too anger-inducing (in the last month, Fr[uckh]e[ad] sent a painter to paint to roof. so it doesn't look as ugly anymore). You ask. There's a fairly major crack in the stucco in the exterior of the boys' upstairs bath) . which according to the painter he did. not that we heard anything from those gutless fucks. Dave the architect came by to check it out. he says we definitely need to talk to F(R)uckhead a...

Home Addition Adventure: January 2008
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 25, 2008. Wow what customer service (NOT). Still no response from F(r)uckhead. The roofing guys just left, though. After spending a whopping 15 minutes throwing tar on the roof. I had to go out there to show them where the leak was (otherwise they wouldn't have even checked with me). I'm not sure it's fixed. What I am sure of is this: F(r)uckhead is hoping the rain is done so I won't have anymore leaks. gutless fuck won't even return my calls. Thursday, January 24, 2008. Or so I thought.

http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. Lisa sent me pics tonight. drywall. cool. Here's the great room. it looks huge! Check out the floor. looks like it's been snowing. Here's the master bedroom. And the wiring box in the closet (not yet drywalled). Here's the closet under the stairs:. And up the stairs, the family room looms large:. And they've built the structure in the family room (someday a flat screen will hang here). And here it is as seen from the boys' bathroom. You can't see the changes from the outside.

Home Addition Adventure: November 2007
http://home-addition-adventure.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Around one, Lisa called; she was heading back from lunch and wanted to know if I had been by the house yet. She had just left the house and said that what she saw of the granite was great. I had the camera, but the batteries died (so pictures will have to wait until tomorrow), but the granite does look great. Nice big backsplashes in the kitchen. The bathrooms look great. the green and large pockets of color are nice. Christ, can NO ONE FOLLOW THE FUCKING PLANS? Whatever....
