http://lexislifewith1p36.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Lexi's Life with 1p36. Jun 24, 2010. Bathing has been made a lot easier. Eating isn't so messy. She just seems to still not want to use her arm. We will have to work on that. Jun 22, 2010. Alexis had her second outing with her worker (I don't remember the official title). She took Alexis out to the Humane Society. While there they worked on Alexis not talking to strangers and not touching other people. Alexis had a good time. She bugged me all morning until it was time for her to go. Jun 21, 2010. The su...

We have yet to receive them. Alexis has a new brother. He was born on September 2. See our family blog. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). In her element - catching flakes.

Lexi's Life with 1p36. Nov 20, 2009. Alexis loves her siblings. Here is a moment with Mikey before Halloween. Labels: Lexi and Mikey. Nov 6, 2009. Alexis loves music. Her favorite soundtrack is Disney's Cinderella. We always get the play by play on what part of the movie the music is playing. It always makes her giggle. Music brings her great joy. Most times music will bring peace into our home. I have found that when I play quiet peaceful music, Alexis becomes more calm. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Lexi's Life with 1p36: February 2010
http://lexislifewith1p36.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Lexi's Life with 1p36. Feb 28, 2010. Alexis participated in the freestyle assisted with flotation and the backstroke assisted with flotation. She got third in both races. We are so proud of her. When it comes to swimming she doesn't go very fast because she doesn't want to get out of the pool. Showering after the race. She hates showers. I made her smile for me. After wards with part of her cheer team. Grandma Burton, Grandpa Burton, Daddy and Emily had left by the time we took our picture. Feb 1, 2010.

Lexi's Life with 1p36: Always Changing, Always Challenging
http://lexislifewith1p36.blogspot.com/2010/10/always-changing-always-challenging.html
Lexi's Life with 1p36. Oct 7, 2010. Always Changing, Always Challenging. Taking care of Alexis has been very hard lately. She has been having fits worse than her two year old sister. It doesn't help that she is 110 pounds and dead weight when she goes to the floor. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset if she had always done this but she hasn't. Once upon a time I was able to have a conversation with her or was able to redirect her. For now those days are over. Who will learn how to share. Will she be disapointed...

Sunday, September 14, 2008. BABY GIRL WILSON GOING HOME. So there are feeding difficulties in the beginning like taking 1 hour to eat 2 oz, being very uncoordinated. And unable to latch properly. We found Nuk. Nipples to be a life saver. At 7 weeks, Ava started having seizures. I would not say that word until she was diagnosed, because I had never seen anyone have a seizure and babies have lots of jerky movements, right? Was enough to get him to take me seriously. I got a copy of the report from Signatur...

In Philadelphia, PA talking to Thomas Jefferson asking him to make the clock chime again. At a Primary Activity - my cookie monsters. The last one is of Alexis entertaining herself while in time out. Lexi's Life with 1p36. Nov 19, 2010. I know that this is late because we are about to celebrate Thanksgiving next week but it is important to share. The next day I put her into a black turtle neck and black leggings so all she would have to do was put on the accessories and shorts. However, when I got to the school she had had an accident and was put in her back up clothes. Oh well. Turns out though we were the only ones in costume. What can I say the Kinghorn's like to have fun. Click image to learn more.

Lexi's Life with 1p36. Aug 11, 2009. Yesterday was a difficult day. I don't think that the heat and humidity helped at all. At speech Alexis was not following directions, at home she wasn't following directions and she was very emotional all day. Especially at dinner when all she wanted was mac and cheese. She just cried and cried and cried. Aug 6, 2009. Aug 5, 2009. I am so grateful for the opportunity that my family had to go to the conference in Indianapolis this year. We found out about it about ...
