Mrs Dow's little Owls' Nest. My Favorite Things Linky and A HUGE Giveaway! Every year that I've been teaching (now four), right before school starts, I've spent tons of money on all things back to school. Of course you need crayons, scissors and glue, but there are things that, especially as a first year teacher, you'd never think of. I've learned along the way which purchases aren't necessary and which ones I HAVE to have. I'm linking up with Amy Labrasciano from. And Mary Church from. Every year, I fin...

Sunday, July 20, 2014. Berry Cultured Butter with Lifeway Kefir. This shop has been compensated by #collectivebias, Inc. and its advertiser. . All opinions are mine alone. The creaminess of butter with the tanginess of yogurt. Yes, please! It gets even better when you use something delicious like the flavors that Lifeway Kefir. Im co-...

Friday, January 23, 2015. So excited to post about the amazing fundraiser our school just finished up! We set a goal of $450 and thought even that would be a stretch! But, we knew the heart our kiddos have and we set up some fun days they could partake in if they donated! Silly Socks day with a few of my sweeties! I love rewar...

Thursday, November 5, 2015. This week we have been having so much fun with our CVC words! We have been doing all types of different activities to get these little brains working! My kiddos (like most kiddos) love to move! Anything that allows them to get up and wiggle is an absolute win! This week I decided to let them stomp through their CVC words! I used these rubber letter tiles that I had and set them up like so…. I had a slide show with tons of CVC word pictures and just let them each take a turn!

My favorite Fall activity is definitely Johnny Appleseed/ All About Apples units! I think making applesauce in the crockpot is one of the coolest things we get to do! The kids are so used to just eating applesauce out of a jar, they love the good ol' home made stuff! Check out my Fall freebie! My kiddos love these!
