There is no cure for cerebral palsy, but education, therapies, specialised equipment and applied technology can often help people with cerebral palsy become more independent and improve their quality of life. In the UK, cerebral palsy affects about one in every 400 children from all social backgrounds and ethnic groups. For further information on this condition, please contact your local GP or health care professional.
