I am into weekly training hikes this month in preparation for an upcoming major event in 2015. So my friend J and I decided to do our favourite 87km or less than 3 hour bus-ride to Cuenca Batangas where Mt Maculot is located. We aborted the rockies side and did the grotto. h. B1 and B3 informed me of their hike Week1 of December. But when typhoon Ruby international name “Hagupit” planned to hit the country, they aborted their plan. They together with B2 ended up joining J and I to Mt.
