Sometimes you get exactly what you want, and discover it’s not what you want at all | Adventures in Coordination

https://adventuresincoordination.com/2016/05/08/sometimes-you-get-exactly-what-you-want-and-discover-its-not-what-you-want-at-all

May 8, 2016. By Adventures in Coordination. Sometimes you get exactly what you want, and discover it’s not what you want at all. I have a gay best friend, let’s call him Portland. I spend a lot of time with him. He knows all my favorite things. All my secrets. We go to happy hour together, dance and stay out all night, rent summer shares. We’re super close and super silly. We are family. Santiago and I got on with the business of having a relationship. And one Saturday night, we were on the couch and...

Reading online comments has totally made me paranoid | Adventures in Coordination

https://adventuresincoordination.com/2016/05/22/reading-online-comments-has-totally-made-me-paranoid

May 22, 2016. By Adventures in Coordination. Reading online comments has totally made me paranoid. I am uncomfortable in Texas. Right now, it feels like a foreign land. I spent over 10 years here in my formative high school and college years. Those were not all great memories and since I haven’t lived here in over a decade, my only point of reference is media. Once we settled in, it was difficult being away from my extended family for the first time. I was used to going to the same school as family a...

Introducing the Ball-Busting Coalition | Adventures in Coordination

https://adventuresincoordination.com/2016/10/16/introducing-the-ball-busting-coalition

October 16, 2016. By Adventures in Coordination. Introducing the Ball-Busting Coalition. I think I’m starting a new non-profit organization. Ball Busters seems like a fitting name. It’s dedicated to allowing the men who think that grabbing a woman’s pussy is not assault, have the privilege of experiencing a genital clutch of their own. Who qualifies FOR a ball busting? Anyone who says that touching a woman’s genitals is not sexual assault — that would be men like Alabama senator Jeff Sessions. Something ...

What’s in a Name? | partlysouthern, partly city

https://partlysouthern.wordpress.com/2015/04/22/whats-in-a-name

Partlysouthern, partly city. April 22, 2015 · 1:12 am. What’s in a Name? I know I haven’t blogged in forever, but I’m coming out of retirement to link up with Andrea. For today’s post. I know. Awful. NOT the boy part. Fast forward thirty years, and The Spouse and I were expecting our first. I was SURE it was a girl, since I’d had my girl name ready since I was eighteen. Yeah, wasn’t gonna happen. Loved it, but the kid in. That was the front runner until we saw. Star Trek: The Next Generation. Confession:...

Partlysouthern, partly city. It’s All About the Jeans, People! What’s in a Name? December 27, 2014 · 8:06 pm. It’s been a LOOOONG time since I posted last. I’m sure none of my four readers even noticed, but I’m feeling guilty because this blog is something I started – and according to my Midwestern roots ‘Dangit, you finish what you start! If we could have kept our minions as permanent elementary-school kiddoes it would have been ideal. But…. Necessary. Floors torn up? It sucked. For them, mostly&#46...

Partlysouthern, partly city. Newer posts →. October 24, 2013 · 5:10 pm. I’m still simmering over the conversations I blogged about on Monday. Notice I said simmering, not steamed. So I guess the silver lining is that I must be calming down a bit. But I’m calm enough now that instead of shouty-capitals-Aim, I’m sittin’ on the pity pot. And that’s bad. Doesn’t help that our realtor’s timeline just doesn’t match with mine. Dangit, I want this house sold NOW! Insert whiny toddler voice for that last word).

In our tiny cape cod style home. Actually, now that I think about it, it was downright inevitable. Last Week: Emotions and Tempers in My Household. Image from solarnavigator.net). He responds to his name. So it was inconceivable to me when, over the weekend, my 9-year old son expressed a desire to rename our puppy Huxley. Huxley, AKA Bruno. To prove it was no big deal, my son yelled, "Huxley! If only it were as easy as my son imagines. Monday, October 8, 2012. What my son's heart. 65279;. My son playing im...

Sunday, November 20, 2011. I'm all about the results. The final product. The destination. It's usually only after I've got the results that I can then look back on the journey. And only if the results are good do I feel good about the journey. My son brought home to me how short-sighted, how. This type of approach is. Creepy Incredible Edibles. Note the. Kids on the box having a blast. The liars. His excitement - his sense of wonder, and of the possibilities - was contagious. What if I do it wrong? There...

Co-parenting isn't always easy, but loving your kids is. May 10, 2015. Lessons learned from our own moms that have brought us together as co-parents. Fast forward about five years. Later that day, Josh and I stopped by to have a beer with JT’s group. I recognized most of his friends from college, and then there was a group of young pretty women off to the side. Adventures In Corona

Sunday, March 12, 2006. This i know because i am currently serving time for fraud. I'm only 22 years of age and i have to serve 7 years. I'm not even serving time in my resident country. I'm in the United States Of America. I didn't do anything wrong, all i did was try and steal a little money that didn't belong to me from as many people as possible. I've been serving for about 6 months now and i've been good. So good that i am allowed 2 hours every other day on the internet in the prison library!
