Adventures in Parenting

How can there be too many children? That's like saying there are too many flowers." Mother Teresa. Sunday, September 11, 2011. First Day of School and a Cover-Up. I realized I hadn't posted the obligatory first day of school pictures. Real words. Now Grace talks all the time (from not babbling at ALL as a baby, this is a big deal) and although we still can't understand every word, we can understand MOST of it. Thanks Miss Sarah, you rock! Adventures in Parenting: The Joy of Living in Arizona

http://adventuresinparenting5.blogspot.com/2011/04/joy-of-living-in-arizona.html

How can there be too many children? That's like saying there are too many flowers." Mother Teresa. Sunday, April 3, 2011. The Joy of Living in Arizona. It's official. Yes, that is the number 99 on my car thermometer. It hit 100 just a few minutes later but I was busy with kids and driving. You'll just have to trust me. What an April Fool's joke Mother Nature pulled on us Arizonians. Oh well. If it were balmy and 80 degrees, everyone would live here, not just the tough. Ellie's got the fierce look down!

Okay, I didn't blog for three weeks and I've had a couple birth parents contact me about updates and how our kids are doing. I need to make up for those weeks and all the fun things we did so bear with me, this will be a long post. Grace and neighbors waiting for the "Go" signal. Posing for the camera. Ellie enjoying her second or third snow cone. I know Sam and ...

http://adventuresinparenting5.blogspot.com/2011/07/utah-trip.html

How can there be too many children? That's like saying there are too many flowers." Mother Teresa. Sunday, July 24, 2011. We just got back from our annual trip to Utah to see the cousins, Grandparents, Aunties, Uncles and the cooler weather. We went to Lagoon, hiked the Y, ate lots of JCW burgers (why won't you come to AZ! Played laser tag (a lot), had our now 2nd annual Birth Parent BBQ (thanks to those who could come), played in pool, went to Seven Peaks and just hung out! Our hike to the Y was fabulous.

Me & My Boys: April 2010

http://imbuildingmydreamteam.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

It's not very often that I get to have the boys all dressed up AND get a picture of it. They both actually cooperated a little bit on Easter Sunday and we snapped a few pretty good shots. Sunday, April 25, 2010. Dying eggs with Grandpa. The trick this year was keeping Brody from drinking or dumping all the die out. Brody's language always seems to be exploding, and of course this was no exception. He learned to say "egg.". Sunday, April 25, 2010. April Showers Bring Grandpa and Flowers. The boys and I ha...

We are back to school and loving it! Both Colby and Brody love school so much. I can't believe how grown up Brody looks in this picture. He loves his school. He is our social butterfly for sure! He goes three days a week - for a long time (8:30-2:30), and even though I miss him; it it is perfect for him. We are so proud of Brody. He needed to be potty trained for school, and he did it! In less than a week! He has only had 2 accidents and they were now more than a week ago! Wednesday, September 14, 2011.

Me & My Boys: May 2011

http://imbuildingmydreamteam.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

The bump is hardly a bump anymore. In fact, it is quite large now. Holy cow, I really do forget sometimes how ridiculously large prego bellies get! Last week, I had a doctors appointment and I knew Mel was going to be in town for a few hours, so I actually got dressed in real clothes. I thought since I had no pictures of this belly, I better take one. I really don't like posting pictures of myself, but what the heck, just this one time won't kill me. I wish that my phone took a better picture.and the...

Wok On Fire Miracle. And I have the pictures to prove it. I think he kind of liked it, because not only did he eat the tiniest piece on his plate he went back for more of one of the big pieces. I can't be sure if it was only because we were at a "brand new to them" place, or because he was in some kind of sesame seed coma, but I will take it! Now, I have pictures to prove that he ate a green vegetable and didn't die from it being on the same plate with the rest of his food! Love those boys. Love em!

Wednesday, April 23, 2008. So I have been trying to remember the great question that Taylor asked me the other day.I remember thinking at the time that I needed to write that one down in the baby book. Saturday, August 20, 2011. Sunday, July 25, 2010. The rainstorm of two days ago brought Le Mistral, an extremely powerful wind that comes up through the Mediterranean.
