and sew the running begins...: Necktie madness
http://sewitbegins.blogspot.com/2009/01/tie.html
And sew the running begins. Sewing and Running.Running and Sewing. Saturday, January 24, 2009. If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck? I'll get back to it but I definitely needed a break from it. In the meantime I worked on the next project I have in my queue.my dad's tie. If you recall, I bought two tie silks in the New York fashion district. I decided to use this one. Wow, the tie looks great! And i...

And sew it begins. A beginners chronicle of sewing projects and mishaps. September 1st, 2008. Sep 1st, 2008 at 3:25 PM. Last week's sewing progress (and posting progress was a little light). It's because I was a little distracted by these:. These are my new kittens Hugh (the black and white one) and Grace (the gray and white one). The shrewd guess, the fertile hypothesis, the courageous leap to a tentative conclusion - these are the most valuable coins of the thinker at work. But in most schools guessing is heavily penalized and is associated somehow with laziness. These strokes of luck are going to give me a false sense of competence at guessing. Which is bad, I think. And sew it begins. A beginners chronicle of sewing projects and mishaps. Pajama set one - done. Aug 31st, 2008 at 6:06 PM. A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools. I got the first set of Pjs for my nieces done. Secondly, I put WAY too much elastic in. I put in 29 inches of elastic for what is supposed to fit a 20 inch waist! 1 comment Leave a comment. Sep 1st, 2008 12:45 am (UTC). The waist looks just right!
