Agnes Family in Africa: May 2015
http://theagnesfamily.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Agnes Family in Africa. Sunday, 31 May 2015. Feb - Justin and Robin's trip to Doro. With the decision taken to re-open the Secondary School, to at least see the Form 4s through their final year, Justin and Robin fly into Doro to help get things ready. Don't worry - he's not actually flying it - great seat though! Part of the Doro refugee camp that stretches for miles and is the reason why Doro now has the greatest concentration of NGO workers outside of Juba. Time for a wash. Bringing greetings at church.

Agnes Family in Africa: February 2013
http://theagnesfamily.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Agnes Family in Africa. Saturday, 23 February 2013. In early December the men of Good Shepherd Church were invited on a team-building day up on the high ropes course at Diguna (just outside Nairobi) and Justin went along with them. Not for the faint-hearted! In a beautiful location. Some, including Graham Talbott from our team, can't get enough of it and find their own challenges! A rather picturesque little 'duka' (shop) on our way home from church that we thought we'd share with you. Before you go home.

Agnes Family in Africa. Sunday, 20 July 2014. Bethanie's Seven and a Half Birthday Party. Bethanie wanted a 'Tutti Fruitti' party for her half-birthday party. Daddy made a menu. Can you work out what each activity involves? Aliyah and Narmeen play 'Fruit Salad'. A (nearly) all girls party is definitely the easiest! What's the time Mr Monkey? The birthday cake - thanks for the recipe Christiane! Pin the Banana on the Monkey'. Enjoying one of Bethanie's presents - thank you Alice! Alexia and her mama.

Agnes Family in Africa. Sunday, 19 April 2015. January 2015 - almost all of it. Wow - uploading these photos helped me to see just how much happened in January - and I haven't even included our annual Spiritual Life Conference (SLC) here - that needs its own one! Obviously no New Year's Resolutions that involve dieting in our house - J makes some fabulous cinnamon rolls. Bethanie has a hair cut. Caleb gets ready for his plaster cast to go on. Beth takes this family photo. Two of our distinguished SLC vis...

Agnes Family in Africa. Wednesday, 18 September 2013. Week 4 - Cambridge again. Our week in Cambridge started off in a very special way - with a lunch with our prayer group and other friends at Vern and Jane Farewell's house. Katherine's got her work cut out there! Andy, Martin, Amanda and Nick put the world to rights. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. Peregrine with mum and dad, Pippa and James. Sadly big brother Hugo was away sailing. Thanks for the new boiler in our house Barney! On the...

Agnes Family in Africa: January 2013

Agnes Family in Africa. Monday, 28 January 2013. Of course, when you come to Africa you expect to see some cool animals. One of the most famous places to go is the Masai Mara (on border with Tanzania) and we've been saving it for a special occasion - now! We opted to go by plane because of time (and Mum didn't recommend the road way) - a bit sick-making for some of us but some great views. The hotel looked out over the plains. The next day dawned brighter and we saw four of the Big Five in one morning!

Agnes Family in Africa. Saturday, 27 April 2013. April - unwinding in Naivasha. The week of Caleb's birthday we hired a car and took ourselves off to Lake Naivasha. Only 1.5hrs drive away, it is another world. We didn't take any computers - just books and games - a chance for some good family time! Hoot for service at Top Camp". The cabin that we'd booked wasn't in a good state when we arrived so we were given another one. It was a much nicer new one (on the R) so we felt very happy! Beth enjoyed the swi...

Agnes Family in Africa: October 2013

Agnes Family in Africa. Wednesday, 30 October 2013. October - Nakuru holiday. For October half-term we had promised ourselves that we'd re-visit the lovely Kembu Cottages at Nakuru - we didn't stay long enough last time! At Caleb's special request we took the old Gilgil Road again so that he could do some rock-climbing. It's a beautiful view. Probably even better from up there. This camera's got a great zoom! Justin in his happy place. The lake is at a 70 year high. Here are a few Lesser Flamingoes.

Agnes Family in Africa: June 2013
http://theagnesfamily.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Agnes Family in Africa. Wednesday, 19 June 2013. June 2013 - School fun. June has been a busy month at Braeburn where Caleb goes to school. We weren't able to be at the Rugby Festival but Caleb survived unscathed and had some good games. Then it was a weekend of baking and making ready for the school Fun Day and Year 3&4's theatrical performance. 4K's cake stall was very popular. Matthew and Caleb manned the stall for the final half hour and managed to sell every last cake. Or Caleb the Rat? Eating Ethio...
