Vestigial Tail: The difference an (almost) year makes
http://vestigialtail.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-difference-almost-year-makes.html
If only we could wag it. Saturday, November 10, 2012. The difference an (almost) year makes. I stopped by ARLP. S adoption day today because I just had to finally meet the puppies. I saw them at a distance when they first came in to our program, but hadn't seen them since. What a wiggly bunch of joy they are (and currently up for adoption. Should you be interested)! I especially like the ferret distraction, but that could be because I like torturing the Rottweiler. Who's dog is that? Suzy Q's CACC mugshot.

A clickerly training challenge blog. Open to the public! About Us & It. March 28, 2010. Week 13, Front. This week it is time for an often-used obedience behavior. Front! For those with a perfect front (definitely not us) or those who really want to solidify the dog’s understanding of front position, work on a movement front. Do circles, move laterally, forward, backward… get creative! Dog should be able to “find front” and hit it from… anywhere! Start small, break it down, and be successful! Leave a Repl...

A clickerly training challenge blog. Open to the public! About Us & It. March 26, 2010. How is your training progressing? Here’s a video clip of me working with all three dogs (separately! With Griffin, he has a rather nice sticky target, but it’s not a nose…it can be chin, top of nose, side of face… I don’t think I will specify one or the other as they’re all cute and he gets the concept of “remain there.” You have to say he’s cute! Aroha Springers: How to make a Happy Gabby!
http://arohaspringer.blogspot.com/2014/06/how-to-make-happy-gabby.html
How to make a Happy Gabby! I picked Gabby up on 5/4/13. She did a lot of lying around. Her previous owners described her as a turtle. Exhibit A: lying in the kitchen. Well, we discovered she moved like a turtle because a) her vision is poor, b) she has hip and elbow dysplasia, c) she is hypothyroid, d) she was obese, e) had a bladder infection, and f) she had broken/infected/painful teeth. She was just a little "thick". Over the last 12 months Gabby has:. A) gotten a diagnosis of PRA. I started her on Co...
