Alaska State Fair, Palmer. The largest event in the state is the Alaska State Fair in Palmer, held at the end of each summer. Staff and volunteers from AACD, Palmer, Wasilla and Kenny Lake SWCDs reach out to fairgoers during the one-day event with fun activities, information and prizes.
