We are endeavoring to create a shellfish wet storage system in our spit facility. This involves pumping from our salt water wells into a cistern the water in the cistern will then be tested by the DEC so that we can recurculate the water into insulated totes full of shellfish. We will also be sure to keep the water chilled with a refrigerated seawater system. A design team is meeting on the 3rd of May at Islands and Oceans. To discuss the design and layout of our future processing line.
