http://napoleonicwarfare.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Tuesday, 25 September 2012. The vanguard of Davout's IV Corps under General Legrand leaves HQ at Zirndorf and heads north to secure a bridge some miles distant. The 3rd Chasseurs ride on ahead and find both sides of the river clear of enemy troops and set up a post, however, they soon learn of a strong enemy force heading their way. The French arrive just in time to set up before white clad troops turn up from the north. 11th (2n...

Napoleonic Warfare: January 2014
http://napoleonicwarfare.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Saturday, 4 January 2014. Blucher was resting at a convent some distance from Schottenstein when reports came in about Adelsdorf. With Augereau only some thirty miles to the south and vulnerable, it seemed a good idea to head that way and hopefully crush the marshal between the two allied armies. Orders were thus written. Ok, my mapping skills are inept at best! Things should improve with time.). Right wing: Austrian Gen. Har...

http://napoleonicwarfare.blogspot.com/2016_08_01_archive.html
A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Tuesday, 30 August 2016. Having only started the Spanish army this year there's not much variety so far. All services are lacking, but I hope to have doubled it's size by the end of the year. So far I have no end goal for these, but maybe it'll end up a corps and represent around 20,00 men. Cavalry commander with Numancia dragoons behind. Neapolis regt. and massed infantry. A close-up of the grenadiers in line. A typical line regt.

A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Saturday, 6 August 2016. The Bavarians have a way to go yet. A regiment of dragoons. 3 battalions in this shot. The back of the lines. Wrede (2nd from right). Another view of the commanders. 7 August 2016 at 16:19. 7 August 2016 at 17:42. RJW -...

Napoleonic Warfare: July 2016
http://napoleonicwarfare.blogspot.com/2016_07_01_archive.html
A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Saturday, 30 July 2016. The Saxon army is nearly complete. I still need to paint up the line grenadiers, jaegers, another cavalry regiment (hussars), more officers and 2-3 infantry battalions in greatcoats and/or greatcoat roll (using Prussian figs). So this post will be up-dated from time to time as I work my way through these. Total force when complete will represent a division of around 9,470 men in the field. It's a dirty job.

http://napoleonicwarfare.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
A journal about fighting imaginary campaigns in Europe using armies in 6mm. Sunday, 26 August 2012. Some miles from their main body, a French line infantry regiment with four guns attached is on forage duty and making it's way to a well known grain store. The guns are for added security as the stories of Allied cavalry and especially lancers have been terrifying for the infantrymen. The main armies are now very close and the men know a big fight is coming. Austrians: 2 squadrons of lancers. 2nd batt seen...
