I created a more-or-less professional profile (using my work location) to see if this would be a way to communicate with students at my university. An exploration of the Web 2.0 World. Thursday, July 15, 2010. They chanted—“¡Soy, soy, yo soy español! 8221; (“I am, I am, I am Spanish! 8221;) and “Champiñones, champiñones” which is a demonstration of their offbeat humor since it means “mushrooms, mushrooms” but follows the rhythm of “champions” in Spanish and sounds a lot like “champions” in English. Techie Media: Poster/Brochure
http://techiemedia.blogspot.com/2008/11/posterbrochure.html
Tuesday, November 11, 2008. OK, so I put the cart before the horse. I created a brochure to hand out to teachers. It contained a list of possible technology inservice offerings, a way to sign up for them, and various other odds and ends of information about the inservices. Now I'm creating a poster to promote those inservices. Such a brochure listing the inservices and such will be helpful to encourage more participation. Hopefully the teachers will keep this in plain site to remind them.
