Charlie’s Lament – Tanatside Hunt
http://tanatsidehunt.org.uk/charlies-lament
I sat with old Charlie, chewing the fat,. Lamenting the days that will never come back. I feel no guilt when I take a lamb,. So what makes you humans follow this sham? Just give me good chase, with a lieu and a hollah,. And I’ll take a lamb, when I think I ortta. And we shall live as we have for years,. In mutual respect, with no reserve. And if you catch me and do me down,. Then doff your cap and ignore the frown. Of people who live on lentils and quorn,. Not proper people who hunt with the Quorn,.
