http://thesammonsfam.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
A day in the life with our crazy, wonderful, growing family. Monday, February 2, 2009. Hilarious set of photos with my two kiddos. Just a random day at my house (Jan. 4 th. This gives some great personality moments with both kids. I don't know what was going on with Connor's serious bed-head hair and Maddy seems to have remnants of breakfast left on her face! Maddy, get your finger outta your nose and smile like mommy said! Connor, did you just toot? No more toots allowed! Mommy, please make her stop!

It really has served us well, and I'm glad we didn't spend a fortune on something that wouldn't have been so sufficient. But, we did have one problem. By having all our school supplies at the dining room table, often times dinner would roll around and our dining room would look like this. My two favorite parts. 1 The entire set up was less than $100. 2 With simple Ikea furniture, the kids assembled it themselves. Here they are. Proud of their work. Your kids read Crime and Punishment?

I can't believe its been almost an entire month since my last post. We've been terribly busy. Our new homeschool. Schedule seems to be the reason, but we're having a blast. Our days are full with lots of reading, writing, mathematics, history and more! We're enjoying every minute of it. We're also enjoying the fall weather, and we took a trip to Washington D.C. There are some pictures below. With our trip to D.C., Alex has now visited 33 states, and Allison has been to 31! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

And So it Goes. My one hesitation in closing down the blog was that I didn't want to lose all the information we had already stored on it. Our blog did serve as a running scrapbook/journal for the past four years. It was easy to remember what we did, and where we were, because every blog entry had a time and date stamp. I'd love it if scrapbooking. Over the past few days I've been working on a site called blurb.com. And discovering how to turn our blog into a book. What a novel idea! And So it Goes.

A day in the life with our crazy, wonderful, growing family. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Here's a quick sample of what Madelyn's new bedroom decor will look like in our new house! As I was preparing dinner the other evening and cutting up the fresh broccoli, my kids were begging for "more broccoli, more broccoli mommy! Well, okay then! What mommy says "No" to that plea. Then as I started cooking the broccoli they were still begging for "more, more MORE! Snowshoe Skiing with The Bennetts. Hello Sunshine...

A day in the life with our crazy, wonderful, growing family. Monday, April 20, 2009. Connor in the jumper. Just so you know (whoever "you" are? Most of the time when I'm on the computer Connor is right here next to me in the bathroom doorway bouncing happily. Unless it's already naptime, this is the ONLY way I can accomplish a few minutes of computer time. But in the short time it took me to upload these cute photos, his sweet smile has already turned to a loud scream! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Happy Birthday, Alex! This last one was even terrifying to watch. I'm glad I didn't have to ride it with him. Happy Birthday, Alex! Have you heard of Mercy Watson?
