Tales from my lottie amongst other things…. July 21, 2008. Has it really been that long! What a fantastic place to be able to spend a year gardening…which is what I’ll be doing. I won’t have much money for the year, but at least i’ll be spending it learning loads and doing something I really enjoy. One Tree Hill Allotment. In which we attempt to grow vegetables on the side of a hill in South London. Sunday, April 10, 2011. Our water supply is not working. This is bad news, because it is already very hot and dry, and it is impossible to grow vegetables in south London without water. South London, as we all know, has less annual rainfall than Jerusalem.
