Thursday, July 17, 2008. The Tale of my 22nd Birthday! I am leaving for Barcelona straight from work today, so I am sorry to say that I only have time to hit the high points and add a few pictures. . Midnight: Everyone surprises me with a birthday cake and a very impressive singing of Happy Birthday (or for Alan, Feliz Cumpleanos). The Day: Went to work and designed a 3-page spread for an article entitles "10 reasons to be cheerful" - can that be more perfect? What a great day to turn 22! Hopefully the r...

http://hallisbritishblog.blogspot.com/2008/08/looking-back.html
Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Well, here I am sitting in my kitchen, in the states. I can't believe I'm back, especially after all the drama that ensued on the journey home. 160;So I took a bus to Midway and caught a flight there to Cleveland and finally made it home that after noon. I took this as a sign that I shouldn't have left London. But now I'm back and posting on here for the last time. Just wanted to give my top ten list! 2 Rolling down the hill at Greenwich on the Eastern Hemisphere. 10  ...

Summer '08 in London: July 2008
http://mbrookelondon.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Summer '08 in London. Thursday, 31 July 2008. Loving London more and more every day. Soooo to continue, as I was checking popsugar at my desk trying to not think about sitting in class … surprise! Denise was to the rescue. She had a client back out and had an extra ticket to the Mamma Mia play. I was offered the ticket, I phoned George on his mobile and got permission from ‘the master’ to entertain clients and forego class. They would love it, because you can tell that they love the concept (and the only...

Summer '08 in London. Monday, 30 June 2008. Emily fell in love with a 17 year old boy this weekend. Still rocking the curls and no plans to straighten once this summer. I think it will help restore my hair and maybe get some thickness back into those roots. . I got kind of sad that the Lanc girls were all at the beach without me, getting tan and having fun. Very depressing. I got to talk to them on the phone though which was almost like being there! Best decision ever. We met this great grou...Class ...

Thursday, June 26, 2008. I'm in love with a french tennis player. And every other male tennis player I saw at Wimbledon today. Ahh Wimbledon. Probably one of the many highlights of my trip, definitely in the top 5. But let me do a quick recap first and then I will get back to Wimbledon. Another day of work. Today I got to book a meeting at a hotel that I researched and picked and negotiated the price. I felt accomplished! And have TERRIBLE B.O! 160;Gosh that sounded shallow! 160;But seriously though.

Saturday, August 9, 2008. Have 3 months really gone by? 160;It was a lot of fun and we got a great view of London from the top of the hill. Then, Christy, Julia, Aly and I decided to roll down the big hill. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I won the race to the bottom! 160;I'm going to miss those! 160;But we're getting ready to go to dinner drinks one last time at a pub around South Kensington and then we leave at 11 am tomorrow! 160;I really cannot believe I'm leaving! Saturday, July 26, 2008. A Birthday, A Picnic(k) and A Tourist. What is really sad now is that I have pretty much become so comfortable here that I feel like I live here, but I have to leave in two weeks! 160;Who knew this day would come? 160;But now I am making the most out of every day I am here. 160;I was so impressed with everything in it and the story line. Definitely kept me guessing and I think Heath Ledger did an impressive job. Woke up early because it was my first weekend in London in July (I ...
