http://theadventuresofbillymax.blogspot.com/2012/09/lake-woodmere-riverside-cemetery.html
The Adventures of BillyMax. Saturday, September 29, 2012. LAKE WOODMERE, RIVERSIDE CEMETERY. The pond is home to swans, geese, ducks and many other ‘visitors’ stopping by on their way north and south. Each summer Lake Woodmere is the site of Kids Fishing Day. For the largely bullhead population of the lake, worms are the bait of choice! When the bread crumbs come out, every one heads in the same direction! Its been a long time - hope all is well. The Adventures of BillyMax: December 2011
http://theadventuresofbillymax.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
The Adventures of BillyMax. Saturday, December 31, 2011. Dec 16 - 31 Cough, Sneeze, Sniffle. Friday the 16th was 56 windy degrees in the AM. Time to dig out the box of oatmeal! Blood sugar 134 - not bad for the morning after potluck! BUT, I took plain steamed veggies and a couple of the guys brought baked fish. Must have been some good fishin' that week! AND, Pat brought her 'to die for' bread pudding with lemon sauce for dessert. So much for my diet last nite! But I did enjoy the fish and the soups.

The Adventures of BillyMax: July 2012
http://theadventuresofbillymax.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
The Adventures of BillyMax. Monday, July 30, 2012. Hot and No Rain! The summer has been hot and dry and crops are failing; sweet corn is skimpy on the cob and not very moist. It is still just as sweet and tastes as good; just looks really puny and the juice doesn’t run down your arm while eating it! I can’t say I’m really impressed with the A/C in the trailer – oh, it cools, but the blower just keeps blowing! I feel like I’m in a wind tunnel even when it is on low! Their funeral was Sunday afternoon.

The Adventures of BillyMax: A Little Behind! Time flies when you’re havin’ fun!
http://theadventuresofbillymax.blogspot.com/2013/01/a-little-behind-time-flies-when-youre.html
The Adventures of BillyMax. Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Time flies when you’re havin’ fun! I stayed around Iowa until the middle of October, waiting for an appointment with the eye doc that got canceled! In the meantime, there were a few days of “Indian Summer” but most of the time I had my ‘hoodie’ on and the space heater or furnace running! Not much Iowa blood left in this ol’ gal! You know you can pay speeding tickets on line now! Just one problem – the park was full! Fred, the manager, came out and ...
