Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Who doesn't love meatballs and spaghetti? We haven't had it in a couple years so I thought it was time. I came up with this recipe on the fly. I am sure they would be delicious with Parmesan cheese in the meat mixture, however I obviously can't add cheese now that I am dairy free. 2 tablespoons Soy (SILK) milk. (Use your regular milk if you're not dairy free). 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs. 1/2 Tablespoon dried italian herbs. 1 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic. 32 oz your favorite marinara.

Friday, April 29, 2011. So with last nights Best Meat Sauce Ever. Recipe I made this biscuit pizza casserole. It is similar to this. Recipe on Allrecipes.com, but much different. 1lb Best Meat Sauce. 2 (12 ounce) packages refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough. 2 cubs shredded italian cheese blend. I think this is going on my meal plan for next week - it sounds SO yummy! BTW, check out my last post on my blog cause I paid forward an award for you :) I love your recipes - keep them coming!

Thursday, April 28, 2011. Best Meat Sauce EVER. I have a problem with tomato chunks. I don't like them one bit. Jarred spaghetti sauce tends to be full of tomato chunks. So when I saw this recipe in my Taste of Home Prize Winning cookbook I got excited. It is AMAZING. I have made it several times. If you don't want a lot of spice tone down the crushed red pepper flakes. 2 tablespoons pre-minced garlic. 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce. 1 can (10 3/4 ounces) tomato soup, undiluted. 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.

Thursday, May 26, 2011. 4 Months Old.Almost a Month Late. It's not even a little bit funny how far behind I am on blogging. I can't believe how quickly time is passing. Let's see if I can re-cap Claire's month. At her four month check-up she was 13 lbs., 9 oz. and 25 inches long. She's staying right in the 50th percentile for weight, but she's now in the 75th percentile for length! I'm hoping that means she'll be tall like her daddy. Claire had a ton of firsts this month! My grandmother and her sister arranged the whole thing, and there were about 20 of us there; aunts, great-aunts and uncles, first and second cousins.the works! It was Claire's first time to meet a lot of the family, and we had such a great time just relaxing and catching up on busy lives. Now on to the pictures! She's already a diva. Claire loves swimming with Daddy!

Lizzie is part of a group of young musicians called Arts One Rocks. They meet on Saturdays, to learn and rehearse rocks songs as part of different band formations. The students range in age from 13 to 18, and they learn a range of instruments as well as vocals. Lizzie plays guitar, and is very good at it, in my humble opinion! Tagged Arts One Rocks.
