Cooking with the Mrs. G's. Cooking Up The Pantry. Bacons on a Budget. A New and Better Egg Salad. I find it hard to believe that we are in the final 2 months of 2016! The year has just flown by! We are finally seeing fall colors here in the South, but our temperatures are still summery. We’ve had temps over 80 degrees every day for the last 2 weeks or so, and more are ahead this week! And it is so very dry! We’ve not had significant rainfall since July. My oldest son and his wife are now home owners!

Cooking with the Mrs. G's. Cooking Up The Pantry. Bacons on a Budget. Fried Salmon with Avocado Sauce. This particular recipe came about the other day when I realized that I still had some avocados in the fridge that had to be used. They were slightly soft when I bought them, and they had gotten pushed to the back of the fridge and almost forgotten. Does that ever happen to you? I seriously hate wasting food, so when I discovered that the avocados were still there, I knew I had to do something! View all ...

Cooking with the Mrs. G's. Cooking Up The Pantry. Bacons on a Budget. No, this is not a juice that you just guzzle out of a glass…unless you really, really like the taste of ginger! This is more of a concentrate that you can add to other beverages like the GGMS. From Trim Healthy Mama. Now, I’ve been eating the THM way for over 18 months. I dearly love the GGMS and the Singing Canary. There is just nothing like the tangy taste of fresh ginger in the GGMS! A little goes a long way, and it can be frozen!
