2 Sew or Not 2 Sew: December 2011
http://loves2sew.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 21, 2011. I have to admit, I'm not usually a fan of McCall Patterns. Not for myself anyway. I find them to be a bit too.young? That sounds odd. I'm not old! This first one M6503. I think that could be really cute for work. I'm also partial to M6519. Not so much for the pants, top or jacket (that top would not be flattering on my body type! Those are a snooze fest for me. But I really like the dress and the skirt! But I really like M6523. I like that there is a short sleeved and long s...

2 Sew or Not 2 Sew: January 2011
http://loves2sew.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 14, 2011. Creativity is not my issue. Neither is lack of inspiration. As always, time is my enemy. Or more accurately, LACK of time is my nemesis. Or a white button down shirt. Even cardigans. These are staple pieces that I can easily purchase as needed. So that's my goal for the rest of this month. To put together a story board of coordinating pieces that will mix and match with some basic pieces. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Falling in love with sewing again. Amanda's Adventures in Sewing.

Favorite Products and Services. Saturday, May 9, 2015. The Me-Made Garment Graveyard. I still miss my colorblocked wool jersey skirt (eaten by evil moths in 2013). Baby D isn't feeling like going to sleep tonight so Mommy can sew something new for a Mother's Day outing tomorrow. Some of these I am sad about, and to some I say: good riddance! Goodbye wide-legged blue corduroy Vogue trousers (you didn't hit at the waist properly and my husband always hated you):. Oooh, baby is sleeping now! 8212; I don't k...

Lupecienta: Transformar una pashmina
http://lupecienta.blogspot.com/2014/08/transformar-una-pashmina.html

This jacket is the second item on my fall sewing list, although it’s a leftover from summer – if I was all trendy I would call it ‘the perfect transitional piece’.
