The Other Side of the Dawn. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. One month ago, Silvia and I landed in a strange new land of Colombia. I had heard of many dangers, and the stereotypical stories told in movies and on the news of Colombia. I was determined to tell a new story of a different side of Colombia. a good side. We have bought a car, finally and have also gotten internet. Both are quite the luxury, especially when you haven't had it for a while, and you realize how much you depended on it. One little bles...

The Other Side of the Dawn: Bogotá, Colombia
http://theothersideofthedawn.blogspot.com/2008/01/bogot-colombia.html
The Other Side of the Dawn. Tuesday, January 8, 2008. Hola, de Bogotá. We are here and doing well. Adjusting to the hustle and bustle of life in the big city. Silvia is back at work and we are waiting for orders and I am getting the hang of the Spanish culture. For now, we are waiting to see and waiting for our orders. Prayer is always a top priority. We are in the process of looking for a car. You know how that is, except in Pesos and a nice little conversion rate, roughly 1 to 2000. A Marshall Art Blog.

The Other Side of the Dawn. Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Boyaca Mountains, Colombia. One of the beautiful scenes in rural Colombia. Rounding a curve in the heart of the mountains of Boyaca, the moon peeks over the range to bid "Buenos Noches". It bowed, I took my picture, and said thank you. Another spectacular evening in the country of Colombia. Marshall and Silvia Hoyle. Links to this post. I have a new love, Skype. It is the coolest thing since, well the internet. Very useful tool that Skype is. Somet...

The Other Side of the Dawn: Real Life
http://theothersideofthedawn.blogspot.com/2008/02/real-life.html
The Other Side of the Dawn. Thursday, February 7, 2008. Our moving to Bogotá has found us in a new church home. This is the family church and most of the family attends here. It is a small but ambitious church that has vision and much potential. It also needs work, but to make a vision happen, it takes work. The message was on David and the Holy Spirit and rest for the weary soldier. A subtitle would be, "Fighting Giants in your Life.". We all watched the video and at the end the Mother told us that they...
