Monday, January 26, 2009. Here is some of the stunning Chinese architecture at the temple. Labels: Tibetan Buddhist Temple. I have this thing for visiting temples here. They fascinate me. I've always been a student of world religions. Here is a Tibetan Buddhist temple up near Zhong. Dian They practice a form of Buddhism called Tantric. She extols its virtue not only as the superior method of brewing, but also as a nearly spiritual discipline. Last night was the annual meeting of the University of Iowa Mustache Club, a conference convened at midnight at the local Perkins. This illustrious group exists so that members may “find strength in the facial hair of their comrades” and advocate for the mustache and its survival in these scruffy times.
