André Mestre is a Brazilian composer and sound-artist based in the Massachusetts. His works often comment on objects that are culturally inherited be they aesthetic or conceptual. In his music mannerisms are invariably contextually displaced and their formal affect resynthesized. His acoustic and electronic works have been performed across North America by some of its leading ensembles such as the JACK. String quartets. He has also worked in close collaboration with saxophone virtuosa Allison Balcetis.

Deze bewerkingen van karakterastieke Amelander beelden zijn uitgegeven als ansichtkaarten. Deze kaarten zijn exclusief verkrijgbaar bij Galerie Philadelphia De Jewel en Lounge, Nes Ameland. Foto's gemaakt tijdens de open atelier route in 2010. Op deze dag waren ook een aantal stegen opengesteld. Daarnaast het Rengerspark en de Prinsentuin in de winter en het straatfestival.
