A place in the Son. Wednesday, March 18, 2015. One day we were out an about and it was raining. Not pouring but just a steady fall of rain which kept us from doing much. We had passed this country seat court house many times and noticed it had been converted into a museum so we decided to kill some time and go on in. Above that is a tiny doll house in the doll house! Almost heaven, West Virginia. Blue ridge mountains, Shenandoah river. Life is old there, older than the trees. Country roads, take me home.

A place in the Son. Thursday, February 19, 2015. Ella got to choose a doll to adopt. How on earth do you choose. It took forever and for once I didn't really care. I enjoyed every little crib, every little doll and looking at their cute names. We walked all over the store again and again trying to find just the right doll. The one Ella has her hand on was almost exactly like the one I had when I was a child. Trying out the cuddles, but that wasn't the right one.not quite right. Thinking had for a name.

A place in the Son. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. The real reason we were in Georgia. On my actual birthday day, July 15, 2014 we went to breakfast ( no camp cooking at all for me that day). We went to the only place we could possibly find in Cleveland, Ga. and they had the most amazing homemade southern biscuits I have ever had. yummmm.After that we hopped on over to the second most magical place in the world (after Disney) Cabbage Patch Babyland General Hospital! A place in the Son. Wednesday, March 4, 2015. We started off this day in the rain. It was so yucky, I wasn't sure Brasstown Bald was going to happen. We spent most of the morning driving around the country side exploring and the minute there was a break in the weather we high tailed it on over to Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Georgia. As you can see it ended up being quite glorious. It wasn't so clear you could see for miles but we could see enough and we weren't being rained on! A PAGE IS TURNED.
