As We Wend Our Way...: The Myth of Christian Fiction
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-myth-of-christian-fiction.html
As We Wend Our Way. Thursday, August 14, 2014. The Myth of Christian Fiction. I'm writing a book! This actually isn't huge news as some of you know I've been writing said-book for about four years now. And now that I'm starting a physics college course AND an anatomy and physiology college course next week I'm sure I'll have tons. Of time to devote to writing. Yeah, the book's really. Coming along. Stay tuned.for another four years, perhaps. Mind you, but sometimes). People are Christian, not things.

As We Wend Our Way...: January 2014
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
As We Wend Our Way. Friday, January 24, 2014. I nearly got hit by a car recently. I don’t mean that a sedan almost crumpled my car's back left door. I mean a huge SUV almost plowed into me. My vulnerable, slightly-squishy, 5' 4", endoskeletal self. Some lady was steaming along at maybe-I-can-make-a-Starbucks-run-and-still-make-it-to-work-on-time speed, slowed slightly. Yeah, it was pretty close. If I was talented and quick enough, I could have done a blow fish on her window. She never did see me. To kill...

As We Wend Our Way...: February 2014
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
As We Wend Our Way. Thursday, February 13, 2014. And So It Ends. I'm happy to report that my crusade has come to a happy conclusion. You may remember the exhilaration of our first capping. After my Christmas wish. After the flush of that excitement wore off, I felt a little sorry for the third and final hubcap. Each time I situated grocery bags around it in the trunk I wanted to pat it gently and say, "Your time will come, Little One.". Well, it's time. Was approximately 9:05 this morning. And So It Ends.

As We Wend Our Way...: Take Me Somewhere Where I Can Breathe
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2013/09/take-me-somewhere-where-i-can-breathe.html
As We Wend Our Way. Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Take Me Somewhere Where I Can Breathe. Well that is precisely what I had the pleasure of doing this last weekend. Shari (aka See Mom Run) and I hopped on a plane and were hospitably received by the wonderful Jay, Mimi, Diana and Rylee. After disembarking, Di immediately drove us to one of the many, many beauty spots to soak up some nature where pretty much everything is gorgeous. Here I am in front of said glorious stump:. Don't I look happy? When we retur...

As We Wend Our Way...: Thankful for the Chance
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2014/08/feeling-thankful.html
As We Wend Our Way. Sunday, August 24, 2014. Thankful for the Chance. This morning during our church service, I had the delightful opportunity to read the following poem that I wrote. Read it aloud if you'd like to hear the meter and alliteration. The Fullness of Forgiveness. At dying day, the shining sun cast final rays of light. Through lengths of linen gently falling ‘round the young girl’s waist. Creating there a silhouette of Mary’s thickened form. Made manifest within a womb untainted by a man.

As We Wend Our Way...: Mommy's Little WHAT???
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2012/08/mommys-little-what.html
As We Wend Our Way. Sunday, August 12, 2012. Once upon a time (seventeen and a half years ago, to be more precise) I brought forth my first born. He was little, pink, wrinkly and completely helpless. As the months passed, I kept feeding, cleaning and cuddling him and eventually he could squat in the backyard and play with a garden hose on a hot summer day. As the years passed, I continued to feed him, teach him how to keep himself. This next week, my itty bitty baby begins his senior year of high school.

As We Wend Our Way...: I Try Not to Brag, But...
http://amongthemany.blogspot.com/2014/01/i-try-not-to-brag-but.html
As We Wend Our Way. Sunday, January 5, 2014. I Try Not to Brag, But. I now have the coolest stairwell in America! Maybe even the coolest stairwell in the whole world, and here's why. Our dear and talented friend, McKenna, drew portraits of each of us and Jeff put them up for me yesterday. Here, get a closer look:. I look a bit smug in mine. Perhaps I'm contemplating how fantastic my stairwell is going to look:. Please excuse me; I'm going to go stare at it again. January 5, 2014 at 4:59 PM. Today, I Bake.
