Books to read and spaces to read them in. Books by their covers. Review: An Imperfect Blessing →. Review: The One plus One. The One plus One by Jojo Moyes (Penguin Michael Joseph). I’m not familiar with Jojo Moyes’s previous books, although a quick Google search reveals that she has a passionate following. I enjoyed the light but not silly story of The One plus One. This review first appeared on Women24. Jess Thomas is a single mom with a singular mission to make it through the day. Jojo Moyes writes fun...

Tracy's Blithe Blog. There’s a 1st time for everything. The awesome Dr Ollie. February 3, 2014. Dr Ollie showed Kiran the instruments that he used to examine him and showed us the inside of Kiran’s ear on a big screen. On the big screen we spotted a fluorescent green object in his left ear that I strongly suspect is LEGO. Dr Ollie agreed but Kiran was so at ease he questioned him: I don’t think it’s LEGO. I think it’s just gunk. I told him he could just come with me. This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Every January 8th, Isabel Allende, one of my favourite authors, lights a candle in her office and sits down to start work on a new book. The ritual started on 8 January 1981 when she sat down to write a letter to her 99-year-old grandfather who was dying. The letter became her first novel,. The House of the Spirits.
