Since 2009, I have been teaching at the University of Groningen, in the Netherlands. I teach mainly Psychology courses, with an emphasis on Methodology and Perception. My research focuses on understanding how speech perception is affected in less than optimal conditions, because of hearing impairment, ageing, communicating in a non-native language, or external noise. The Epicurean was a column I wrote for the newspaper of the University of Groningen. Three years and more than 70 recipes on one page.
