http://www.artfulobservations.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 7, 2009. Well, since I posted the Doodle Factory. For this card, I embossed the stamps in black. The Hula dancer was cut out and popped up on foam dots. The entire scene and dancer were painted using an aqua brush and Stampin' Up Classic Dye Ink (re-inkers). I made 16 of these for a swap with my "live, local swap group"! Enjoy your holiday today! Have you seen the adorable new Halloween Doodle Factory set called Costume Party? Blog for details on how you might win a free set! There was ...

Artful Observations: New Banner
http://www.artfulobservations.com/2011/11/new-banner.html
Tuesday, November 8, 2011. I finally got around to making a new blog banner, having been inspired by a fabulous digital kit from Deviant Scrap. Called Ode to a Muse 2. The Muse referenced is Michael DeMeng. Master purveyor of all things creepy-cool. He teaches workshops and also has a line of stamps with Stamper's Anonymous. My banner was made mostly with elements from the Ode to a Muse 2 kit. But the man in white and the little boy are from another Deviant Scrap kit, Slightly Sinister. Photos, text and ...

The thoughts, ramblings, and "doin's" of doll artist Alice C. W. Dennis. Friday, September 3, 2010. Where have I been? It seems I have neglected my blog. Why? http://whatanexpression.blogspot.com/2009/06/my-first-ever-canvas.html
The thoughts, ramblings, and "doin's" of doll artist Alice C. W. Dennis. Saturday, June 20, 2009. My first ever canvas. I was creating the face I saw in my mind. I continued to finger-paint the rest of the face. I did use a brush for the hair, eyebrows and to line the eyes. Everything else was finger-painted. (That is why I put the. In quotations in the first line of this post.) So what do you think? Alice C. W. Dennis. I think it looks great, at least there are no brush marks. heehee. Made in July 2006.
