The eve of the Big Day | Recurrently Lost
https://recurrentlylost.wordpress.com/2014/01/16/the-eve-of-the-big-day
12 weeks and good news :) →. The eve of the Big Day. January 16, 2014. Tomorrow is the big day. Our NT scan. I’ve been unbelievably impatient over the past few weeks, and now suddenly I’m not sure I’m ready. I swing wildly back and forth between feeling like it’s Christmas eve and feeling like it’s the night before going to the gallows. 9 thoughts on “ The eve of the Big Day. January 16, 2014 at 4:10 am. First, don’t feel guilty! I am so happy for you and that you could experience this! It will be my tur...

My Miscarriage Story | This Child's Mom
https://thischildsmom.wordpress.com/my-miscarriage-story
This Child's Mom. A mother and child live the first great love story. Me, In a Nutshell. J* and I found out we were pregnant on February 26, 2013. We had only been trying since the new year, so it happened pretty fast. That’s one really big way God has blessed us in all of this — we know we can get pregnant without too much trouble. Not everyone can say that, and I feel enormously blessed and grateful to Him that we can. J* is my husband. I won’t use his full name on this blog.). They left us alone for a...

One Year Later | This Child's Mom
https://thischildsmom.wordpress.com/2014/12/03/one-year-later
This Child's Mom. A mother and child live the first great love story. Me, In a Nutshell. By Warrior By Choice. This morning, after a long night of us going to bed and getting back up again–times five, I’m reminded that for everything, there is a season. This is the anniversary of the day we found out about Luke — December 3rd, 2013. The culmination of a very tough year, to say the least. Little did we know the next year would bring so much more joy than the last. And what a growing boy! He’s been t...

If we knew what was really going on… | This Child's Mom

This Child's Mom. A mother and child live the first great love story. Me, In a Nutshell. If we knew what was really going on…. By Warrior By Choice. Read this today and just had to share:. Sometimes we don’t know how to explain our truths, sometimes we are afraid of the inevitable reaction, sometimes we don’t want to admit where we are actually at. We would be less careless with our words and ideologies and blanket statements and casual judgments, because we would understand that the wounded are constant...

This Child's Mom. A mother and child live the first great love story. Me, In a Nutshell. Me, In a Nutshell. Help, I’m in a nutshell! I was born in 1983 and remember watching TGIF growing up. I grew up in the South. I have 4 siblings. I’m an introvert but sometimes you can’t shut me up. I cry at the drop of a hat when I’m mad, sad, moved by something I see or hear, or just overwhelmed with emotion (which is all the time). I cry when I sing in church literally every week. I am an ISFP. I’m a dog pers...

My Hope & My Future : February 2015
http://myhopeandmyfuture.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
My Hope and My Future. Thursday, February 12, 2015. Yesterday morning Isaiah was awake and able to get the breathing tube removed a few hours later. He was definitely in a lot of pain when he woke up, as we had expected. He is seriously such a trooper though. He did everything that the nurses asked him to do, he even spent some time sitting up in a chair! Today, I brought Audrey in for a few minutes to say "hi". I made sure that she wore her Marshawn Lynch jersey today just for him! Isaiah is really hand...

http://myhopeandmyfuture.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
My Hope and My Future. Saturday, January 31, 2015. Heart failure, liver failure, etc. Here are the updates that I've posted lately regarding my husband, Isaiah. The most recent updates are at the top. Today was a day full of waiting. Numerous tests and scans were done today. If he has not woken up by Monday night, they will put in a temporary version of the LVAD. This would allow extra time for him to wake up. Prayers are desperately needed for Isaiah right now. He had a bad night/morning. Some o...A few...
