to err is human; to forgive is divine: January 2012
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 19, 2012. I was on holidays back home from Dec 23 - Jan 5. All I'll say about being home was that it was a lot more time than I was expecting! Posted by Stephanie Bach. Monday, January 16, 2012. Plant Ag xmas party! The party was being held at Atmosphere cafe this year, and although I was a bit hesitant because of the layout of the restaurant (long and skinny), it seemed to work out pretty well. We had our projector set up for a rotating picture slideshow. My post-defense self was a lot...

Thursday, December 22, 2011. A Fine Frenzy - Almost Lovers. There's something about this song. It's so beautiful it's haunting. Your fingertips across my skin. The palm trees swaying in the wind, images. You sang me Spanish lullabies. The sweetest sadness in your eyes, clever trick. Well I'd never want to see you unhappy. I thought you'd want the same for me. Goodbye my almost lover. Goodbye my hopeless dream. I'm trying not to think about you. Can't you just let me be. So long my luckless romance. Shoul...

to err is human; to forgive is divine: September 2011
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 23, 2011. See you in a few weeks! Posted by Stephanie Bach. Thursday, September 22, 2011. I don't know why I was so afraid to work with puff pasty, it was really simple (duh, it's premade! The only problems I had was that my egg wash wasn't quite sticking the way I hoped, and some of the turnovers popped open a bit while baking. These weren't quite as crunchy and delicious as I was hoping, but for my first time working with puff pastry, I'd say they worked out very well. After a day org...

to err is human; to forgive is divine: Potluck
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2012/04/potluck.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2012. My apologies, I know I haven't posted in a while. My life picked up like a whirlwind and kind of overtook, well, for lack of better word, my life. To pick up where I left off last, I had a potluck at my place at the end of March. I invited a lot of people, but even with a handful of polite declines, I still had more people coming than usual. I didn't even have enough chairs for everyone! Everyone had arrived by around 630 and there was a lot of (delicious! Food at the table!

to err is human; to forgive is divine: July 2011
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 28, 2011. I've been on a bit of a baking kick as of late, and my most recent delectable treat were some banana muffins. I spiced them up with some delicious nutmeg, but I think it could have used some cinnamon as well. I'm nearly out of flour too so I'll have to get more of that before I can attempt this weekend. More to come later! Posted by Stephanie Bach. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. I can't believe you haven't seen this before! Ironic. Coming from Adam. But I really hadn't seen it before.

Wednesday, February 29, 2012. By the way, I've taken up knitting. I started knitting again this past Christmas. With not being a student anymore, I found that I had some extra time on my hands (lol). I dug out my old box of knitting and crocheting tools to start some fun. I've already knitted several simple things, such as scarves for myself and a few others. My latest project. can you guess? When I finally get it done, I'll post pictures of my wicked gloves! Posted by Stephanie Bach. I paired this with ...

to err is human; to forgive is divine: Alberta Elections 2012
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2012/04/alberta-elections-2012.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Although I am not largely a proponent of the PC Party, I have to say, anything is better than a WR win. I'd say a 62 to 17 seat defeat is quite the feat indeed. I also screen-capped my parents' riding of Edmonton-Mill Woods. PC as usual, but I think more people were pulling for a Liberal win this time around. My mom also knows her. But I don't think that's any reason to vote for someone. Posted by Stephanie Bach. Hi, and welcome to my blog! View my complete profile. Why are you so.

to err is human; to forgive is divine: Salmon and potatoes
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2012/04/salmon-and-potatoes.html
Monday, April 02, 2012. I love salmon. And I love potatoes. I was craving some crosstrax a few weeks ago (and still are, coincidentally), but didn't want to head to the Keg on campus to get my fill of such greasiness. Instead, I decided to make wedge potato fries for myself in the oven with my trusty herb: rosemary. I also had some portioned filets of salmon in the fridge, so I went ahead and made them with lemon wedges and some cracked pepper. Posted by Stephanie Bach. Hi, and welcome to my blog!

to err is human; to forgive is divine: November 2011
http://nakitakumonaru.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. So here's something I'll probably never make again! Over the last year, I've gotten pretty good at making my risottos. Who'd have thought that switching up the grain would completely change the game? Not to say that my risotto turned into a cooking disaster. It didn't. On the contrary, it turned out great. I just apparently *hate* pearl barley. I can't remember where I saw this, but the low GI factor really intrigued me, so I got some pearl barley to test this out. Use more ...
