Thursday, June 5, 2008. We've been living here in Newport Beach for almost a month and it is a beautiful place (This is a picture in front of our apartments at Park Newport). It has been so nice to have daddy's workplace less than a mile away and for B to not have homework! He is enjoying his summer associateship with O'Melveny and Myers. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Every year we try to get away for 1 weekend up to Tahoe.ski and spend time in the snow. Here are few pictures from this years trip. We also love having visitors! Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Becoming a REAL nurse. After completing my first few shifts of my last semester of nursing school, I'm seeing what being a nurse is really. Grateful that the majority of nurses I've worked with, and especially my preceptor, are examples of knowledgeable nurses who take responsibility for their actions. As for how my first few shifts have gone? They have been busy. One of my patient's on the first night asked me, "Are you sure you want to go into this profession? You can do it!
