Eagle Rock Brewery had their annual Session Beer event, Angel City had their grand opening in downtown LA, 38 Degrees had their monthly bottle share, and Dog Fish Head was in town at Blue Palms. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Belgofest 2010, part 1. Yesterday I visited the Belgofest in Uppsala. It's a home brew festival focusing on Belgian style beer. This year they had moved the festival to a much bigger building. It seems like the number of guests had gone up with the size of the room. Was there and sold some cheeses. My father bought one of each with only one exception. I also bought a couple of cheeses but skipped the Blue Chimay and only had a small piece of the green Chimay (Grand Cru). It's a ...

Tuesday, June 30, 2009. A trip to Fjäderholmarna. On saturday me, Karin, my brother and parents took a boat to Fjäderholmarna. It's a small island in the Stockholm archipelago, very easily accesible by boat from Slussen or Nybrokajen. The trip takes somewhere between 15 and 25 minutes. Once on the island we walked around for a bit and looked at the different stores and restaurants. Then we sat down in the grass and had some white wine and just soaked up the sun. Me and Karin in front of one of the harbors.

Tuesday, April 27, 2010. The Swedish Championship in Homemade Beer 2010 - Part 1. Despite staying up late on friday I woke up early feeling very energetic. I had a good feeling about the day and wanted to get to the SC right away. But I knew it wouldn't be open until 10:00 so I settled down and tried to relax. Which didn't work so well so I headed of to the festival. Below is a picture of the non-finished booth. Me and Erika started off in the booth and where prepared to take on the happy beer drinkers.
