BRYC is a private yacht club located on the south side of Cape Cod in the town of Yarmouth, on Bass River. There are approximately 155 member families. Sailing classes are taught five days a week, with races on Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday; the club is open seven days a week from 8:30am-9pm (10pm on weekends). Social functions are held each weekend night. BRYC is minutes from Route 28 and biking distance from shops, beaches, and Hyannis center. The club does not currently offer housing.

Take Route 6 to exit 8. From 6 East, go right at the end of the ramp to Station Ave. From 6 West, go left on Station Ave. Continue past Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School on the left to an intersection across from a convenience store. After the yield sign go through one set of lights and cross Route 28. On the left is a parking lot behind a gas station. Take the left after the parking lot onto Union St. From Union St. take the first right to Pleasant St. Bear left at the sign to BRYC.

Lower Bass River Bridge (Route 28). The first bridge, replacing the ferry service between Union Street - South Yarmouth and Ferry Street - West Dennis was built in 1832. The four tall pilings are at the location of a draw-bridge to allow sailing vessels access to the upper River. A somewhat later view of the same basic bridge. This view also shows one of the sailing packets, probably the David K Akin, at Fullers Wharf, the present day home of Packet Landing. High Bank Bridge (1953). Bass River Yacht Club.
