2015 Christmas Bird Count. BIRD ID / SIGHTINGS. Some waterfowl numbers were down ( e.g. Only 7 Mute Swans! But our pictured Platte Lake team found 9 Trumpeter Swans, as well as 5 Common Loons and 13 Hooded Mergansers. Leonard's group found both White-winged Scoters and Long-tailed Ducks.
