Adam in the world. Pigs in (urban) space. Aug 13, 2008. The above pictures are from Georgia. This past week. More pictures at The New York Times here. Some of them disturbingly beautiful. Or rather - what the fuck was he thinking? Naive thoughts of future greatness? This war seem so absurdly meaningless. It's outcome so depressingly predictable. The only one to benefit from this is Putin and Russia. It's an ad the Danish artgroup Surrend put in the biggest Georgian Newspaper some days ago. No peace I find.

Eclectic Notes and Ephemeral Dustbunnies. Saturday, May 17, 2014. It's amazing the things that turn up when you're not looking for them, isn't it? We've made a start on packing stuff up ready for the move, and all kinds of things have come to light (or drifted to the surface, depending how you look at it). Long-forgotten stuff that hasn't been seen in years, and in some cases not since my partner got this house about 15 years ago. Today's haul of interesting discoveries include:. A copy of Ancient Egypt.
