Saturday, September 27, 2008. Wood Clock and Owls. I came across this. Project and got the approval. We had been talking about getting a clock ever since we noticed there were none in the apartment. The project required a drill and I've always wanted a drill! I saw these at Pottery Barn. Does anyone know if I can spray the candle with anything to preserve it? HA, i love that you made this clock and then remembered you can't stand ticking! Hahaha, too funny. Those owls are cute. Los Angeles, CA.

Tuesday, November 11, 2008. I recently joined ravelry and rediscovered this pattern. I tried to knit it in a week for an event that I thought I could use it for. I ended up wearing something else because this didn't turn out the way I thought it would. I'll be ripping it out and using the yarn for another project. This bolero was supposed to have sleeves, but I didn't get that far with it. I also modified it quite a bit, I didn't want that huge collar effect that the original pattern has. Los Angeles, CA.

Sunday, March 15, 2009. The fabric fell off after the first night I posted my project. I didn't use the right kind of adhesive and the heat from the light bulb melted the tape. A friend gave me some glue that she uses for her jewelry to reattach the fabric. The glue gun worked the best. . I started by measuring the circumference of the lamp shade and added an inch border to overlap the edges. I used the fabric pattern lines as a guide. March 17, 2009 7:57 AM. Saturday, January 30, 2010. Hemming A Pair of Jeans Tutorial. Everytime I buy a new pair of jeans I have to hem them because I am a shorty. A few of my friends want to know how I do it, so here it is. It's not pretty, but it gets the job done without having to pay someone else to do it for me. 1 I try on the jeans and cuff them to the length that I would like it to hit the ground. You should put on the shoes you'll be wearing with it the most when doing this step. 2 Cut an inch bellow the cuff line.
