This last Tuesday, Steve and I headed out to Hilton Head Island, SC for our 4 year anniversary! This can't be right! Steve put in his key and our jaws dropped. WHAT AN AMAZING BLESSING! We had the most amazing room for the next 3 days. A full dining room, living room, separate bedroom, 3 balconies and 3 bathrooms! We were blown away! And boy did we sleep well :). Mother of all bathrooms.

Friday, April 09, 2010. Sorry I've been so absent from the blog. Just trying to get caught up on life after being sick with sick kids for a week. I thought I'd give a little update on each of the kids, since I haven't done that in a while. So we'll start with miss K. Kathryn is full of life, personality, opinions, and sweetness. And she is ALL girl! The flowers are as beautiful as I've ever seen! It's like a dream come true! We're both princesses now! The Glory of God! Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

In all our efforts to become completly self sustaining(i kid, i kid) we planted a rather large garden with our fellow "city folks in the country" neighbors. It is on about 3/4 of and acre and we have lots of yummy vegetables: corn, okra, tomatoes, cukes, peas, peppers, squash, and potatoes. Look at those beautiful trees.ahhh country living at its finest.
