A Day in the Life of....: Answers in the desert.
http://jesheller.blogspot.com/2011/02/answers-in-desert.html
A Day in the Life of. Sunday, February 13, 2011. Answers in the desert. Today I took full advantage of having the day off and the weather being absolutely gorgeous. I grabbed something to lunch on at Trader Joe's and brought it to a little gem in Phoenix called Canaan in the Desert. To spend some time in the quiet beauty of the prayer garden that they have open to the public. Josh loved to juice! I loved that in the quietness of the desert, I was able to so clearly know that this was the way that the Lor...

A Day in the Life of. Thursday, August 05, 2010. Threshed and Ground to Perfection. When I was a little girl, my family would have dinner together and then spend some time reading through a devotional, the Bible, or perhaps a chapter from a book. I have fond but foggy memories of listening to my parents read to us from "Hinds' Feet on High Places" by Hannah Hurnard. Recently I decided to pick up a copy and read it again for myself. 27 Caraway is not threshed with a sledge,. And cummin with a stick. In my...

A Day in the Life of. Wednesday, December 08, 2010. The result of loss. My hope for us is that we would acknowledge and recognize the intermingling of joy and sadness that can and will coexist in our hearts after experiencing loss. That we would choose to welcome both of their visits, allow them to stay as long as they like, and concede to both affecting us in a way that gives us more of a glimpse into the fullness of humanity and our Father's heart for us all. A Day in the Life of....: Garden Update!
http://jesheller.blogspot.com/2011/03/heres-quick-update-on-our-cute-little.html
A Day in the Life of. Wednesday, March 09, 2011. Here's a quick update on our cute little square foot garden! We are seeing some progress with our seeds sprouting and our lettuce growing. Not sure if the Broccoli or Cauliflower will cooperate with us, since it was sort of late in the game when we planted it. We mixed in some of this Red Leaf Lettuce with some other leafy varieties for a salad last week. The onions are coming up nicely! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

A Day in the Life of. Tuesday, January 04, 2011. A Piece in Heaven. The other day, my pastor said something that went not only in to my head, but down to my heart as well. It made me think I needed to process through it again on paper (figuratively speaking) and share. It was only a fraction of his message, sort of an offshoot really. But it made sense to me. It just all made sense when my pastor said that. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A Piece in Heaven. View my complete profile.

A Day in the Life of....: September 2010
http://jesheller.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
A Day in the Life of. Sunday, September 26, 2010. It's not what you know, but WHO you know. This post has been a couple months in the making; the thoughts and ideas have swirled around in my head, but nothing ever concrete has landed. This is my attempt to harness those spurts into a coherent thought. And then the thought pops into my head, do others expect me to know this? Am I letting people down because I don't know the book of Ephesians off the top of my head? Links to this post.
