Keeping up with the Joneses!: April 2015
http://get-there-together.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. While playing Catch Phrase. The other day with the kids, I had the word "wavy". Me: When my hair isn't straight or curly, it is? For some reason Barney the purple dinosaur came up in conversation last week. However, since my kids have been raised without (much) television, they weren't quite sure who he was. Mason: Who was Barney anyhow? Sammy: Didn't he drink a lot? I know he was in jail a couple times. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sign up and I'll email you my posts!

Jones Family Blog: Craziness
http://dandeannajonesfamily.blogspot.com/2015/07/craziness.html
Sunday, July 19, 2015. This week has been rather insane. All week, I've had extra kids in the house, which has meant extra mess all over the house. Monday, we had a friend of Eileen and Anna's over to play for the day, then the girls and I spent the evening cleaning up their room - it only took like 3 hours. Wednesday afternoon Dan came home early so Becky and I could go to our long-arm quilting class! We had tons of fun and I can't wait to get to work on getting Kai's quilt finished! We walked there sin...

http://dandeannajonesfamily.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. This has been a fun and eventful week. I had an extra kiddo around the house on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. She and James had a lot of fun playing together. The kids were all obsessed with play-doh this week and had fun making big messes all over the kitchen with it. Hopefully they have gotten it out of their system for a bit now. James and I stayed until we had to leave to get the other kids from school. Then of course piano lessons in the afternoon. Grandpa came and took hi...

Sunday, November 30, 2014. We have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week! My Dad made it in safely on Wednesday, I spent most of the evening cooking - Dan got off early to come home and play with us. Tuesday was Chorale rehearsal for me - we had solo auditions and I got a solo - despite being VERY NERVOUS during auditions - and I'm very excited since I will be singing it in the church building right next to my Grandpa's home and so he and some of my other family will be there! Now we just got...

Sunday, March 29, 2015. It's feeling like I say this every week. but this week was nuts! Road trips and rest stops are a lot easier with just one kid. James and I arrived late on Friday night and soon went to bed. Dan spent Friday home with the kids - and Aaron proved he could ride his bike to the park and back and got to go pick out his new bike. He also got all the kids new helmets which they were very excited about! Sunday, March 22, 2015. Wednesday we had the kids piano lessons after school along wit...

Monday, August 25, 2014. And she looks healthy and like she might be a thumb sucker. :). When I was a kid, I remember having my little brothers pray with me and encouraging them to say two new things in every prayer they said. I never dreamed that one day my kids' prayers would include:. I replied that I honestly didn't know. He said, "I would do the things that Daddy does to help you out." What a sweetie! Mason and Sammy finished up a fun summer playing soccer- Sammy especially loved it, and now has dre...

Jones Family Blog: Crazyness Ensues....

Sunday, June 28, 2015. Well, for the first time in a long time, I misses a week - but I promise that I had a valid reason. Our last week in Texas included a trip to the aquarium where the kids loved looking at the fish and loved even more getting to tough the sting rays! They would have stayed in there with the stingrays getting soaked all day if we hadn't made them go eat lunch. Friday, we headed out on the long drive back to Colorado. We made it in late that night and crashed! Monday morning, I was ble...
