November 25, 2007. After a long time, some news from me. Yesterday, we started a MemberZone game. dihedral and Thraxiam teamed up and so did Osai and I. The idea was to make a competitive game similar to good old coopetition but without a time restriction to induce a more relaxed gameplay on a relaxed saturday evening. YETI Extended Towns & Industries. Transport Tycoon Main Station. 2005 - 2016 #openttdcoop. Based on the the "dark" theme. Comments marked as Spam.

RAWR!!! at #openttdcoop

http://blog.openttdcoop.org/2015/01/27/rawr

January 27, 2015. Ladies and nutmen,. Just now I am realizing I forgot to officially mention that I have been working on another project for the past months. RAWR Absolute World Replacement is currently 32bpp/ExtraZoom LANDSCAPE with ROADS and TRACKS. Eventually I am hoping to replace all the sprites the game needs, and the final output then could be a full base set. The project home is at the devzone per usual. You are welcome to contribute/place your impressions/screenshots there 🙂. 5 comments so far.

January 19, 2009. Have a banana everyone! For just a weekend offline I return to discover another new feature merged to trunk OpenTTD. When reading the changelog. In the fruit basket I found a bunch of bananas, or more properly spellt, BaNaNaS. BaNaNaS is an acronym which stands for B. Cenarios and is the new content delivery system. Of OpenTTD. It allows you to update to the newest version of base grfs (OpenGFX), NewGRFs and NoAI – computer players. Read the rest of this entry ». August 17, 2008.

May 31, 2009. Big hubs in a nutshell – finding a universal hub design. Recently I started playing a game on my own, featuring some LL-RR main network. When I had to build my first ever 4-way hub for double tracks, I first took a look at the Junctionary. Just to find out that all hubs were designed quite different and hardly any of them follow all necessary rules (curve length, double bridges/tunnels, merge after split). I then started wondering if there’s a universal way of thinking about hubs.

Server Changes at #openttdcoop

http://blog.openttdcoop.org/2014/08/26/server-changes

August 26, 2014. As one of the sysadmins of #openttdcoop alot of work happens for me on the background. Most changes go unnoticed, some cause minor breakdowns (sorry ;) but alot of changes you don’t see. The changes that mostly did go unnoticed were changes to our mail infrastructure, database updates, backup procedures. And that’s just a few. However do keep in mind that this will go offline at some point and we strongly advice against creating new pastes there. Should you have any questions join in on ...

RAWR Absolute World Replacement. RAWR Absolute World Replacement. Is another of my 32bpp/ExtraZoom projects, aiming to replace everything in base OpenTTD, and evenctually create a base set. Starting with landscape, I had to add roads and tracks to get at least a solid base so it does not look too awkward. Still, there is a LOT of new things to add, and "old" things to fix in future versions. RAWR can be used in any climate and the player can select whichever climate they want to be drawn. 0 open / 0.
