Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Long Drives are Over Rated. After a weekend of spectating at Rocking Horse, I drove to Vero Beach for a few days of relaxing at the beach. I got three days of lovely weather before a cold front came through, but I can't complain since the pool was eighty- five degrees. Monday, February 13, 2012. I have to admit, I am seriously sick of winter weather! After a week of snow and frigid temperatures, I have decided to visit friends and family (and Dylan! In Florida for a few days. I'm packing tomorrow and traveling on Wednesday. I have even updated my iPod with a book on tape since I have actually decided that sixteen hours in the truck sounds less torturous than flying. Saturday, March 17, 2012. After a delicious dinner at Harry's on the Square with all the friends we could gather, we once again got on I-95 and drove three miles further South to Vero Beach. We had a fantastic three days of shopping, eating, and sunbathing. On Wednesday we attended the dedication of First Presbyterian Church's new organ, which was donated by my grandparents Paul and Jerri Ives. Vero Beach boardwalk and ocean. Saturday, February 18, 2012. It was great to see Dylan, he was happy to see me (I'd love to take it personally, but he loves everybody). Missy rode him and he looks great on the flat, it was nice to see. He seems to be taking to Florida life well, and is madly in love with the newborn foal in the next field. I am in Ocala for another day or two, and then my dog and I head down South to Vero Beach to visit family. Pictures to come when I can get my computer connected to the Internet! Great to see you!
