The Ice Family Blog. Friday, September 11, 2009. All I want for Christmas is my one front tooth. With the help of her big sister, Miss Liberty finally lost her front tooth! What a smile :). Providence has lost another tooth as well. It took the Tooth Fairy 4 days to get to Malawi! But once she finally got here, the payout was big! Ok not so big, like $3). Posted by The Ices. The Ice Family Blog. Friday, September 11, 2009. First Day of School. Shortly after arriving in Malawi, the girls started school at Bishop Mackenzie International Schoo. Libby started Standard 1, which is the same as kindergarten and Providence started Standard 5, US 4th grade. As you can see, they are all suited up and ready to go. Lørdag 17. mars 2012. Food fair was was good fun! We sold 15 litres of waffles and 5 kg Norwegian salmon. We where not preapered to answer the child who asked if the salmon was halal. Neither could we answer the other child if the norwegian brown cheese was Kosher. Hmmm - anyone who knowes? Pål, Hanne Gry, Robin and Jostein. At the Food Fair at Bishop Mackenzie International School in Lilongwe yesterday. The Embassy supported the fair with salmon, waffles and brown cheese. Send dette via e-post.

Tirsdag 24. januar 2012. Vi er tilbake i gamlehuset vårt og stortrives! Vi flyttet fra huset vårt i Malawi til Paris i desember 2007. I august 2010 flyttet vi tilbake til Malawi, men til ett annet hus nær skolen. Der viste det seg å være mye støy fra byen, mye trafikk og lite, til tider ikke noe vann. Så da gamlehuset vårt ble ledig i januar 2012 slo vi til og flyttet "hjem" igjen ut på landet. Og livet på landet er hærlig! Dyrelivet i hagen er like livlig. Slangene florerer(! Tirsdag 2. april 2013. Beste naboer fra Norge på besøk. Et pust ved bassenget. Frida og Frederik koser med den ene tuppa vår. Litt av hvert i vannet. Midt i Afrika, hvor veldig få turister har funnet veien til enda,. De minste barna er våkne og klare for frokost. Jeg tar bilde av deg og du av meg! Fine huset vårt med kirkebenken min ved døra og. Blide, flinke gode Maggie. Hjelper til å lage mat. Mørket kommer klokken 18/19 året rundt i Malawi. Da senker freden seg og alt og alle faller til ro.
