Sunrise Quilt Studio: 9-Patch Variation Vintage Quilt
http://sunrisequiltstudio.blogspot.com/2015/06/9-patch-variation-vintage-quilt.html
The Projects of a Longarm Machine Quilter. Tuesday, June 30, 2015. 9-Patch Variation Vintage Quilt. This quilt was hand-pieced by my grandmother who died in 1960. My mother gave me the top back in the 1990's telling me if I didn't want it she was going to give it to the Goodwill! My mother is obviously not a quilter. I took this top and another one that Grandma had hand-pieced and have moved them with me to 5 different homes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Missouri, United States.

Rough Around the Edges: September 2012
http://robinolsen.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Rough Around the Edges. Saturday, September 15, 2012. I've been silent for a while, figuring out my new direction and just fully enjoying the lazy days of summer. A couple of months ago my art group made the big decision not to have our Dec. show anymore. It was a hard decision because our shows have been a lot of fun and have been hugely successful, but to many of us, myself included, they took over our life and our art too much. We then added colors to our pages. When we were done with the exercise, we...
